How do we make spaces more welcoming to more bodies? What are the challenges of exercising while fat? Aaron and Glenys talk to one of their favorite fat activists, Ragen Chastain of the blog Dances with Fat, about how to make exercise more accommodating to more people of all sizes and abilities. She answers these questions and more, and tells us about her experience as a competitive dancer and how she decided to prepare for an Iron Man.

Let's face it: we're lucky if we get old. Yet there's so much stigma in our culture around aging. Aaron and Glenys talk with food and body relationship specialist Michelle Vina-Baltsas about what it's like to get older in a world that is stridently anti-aging, and how we can fight against the stigma of aging by continuing to be relevant as all hell. You can find Michelle on her website and in her Facebook group, The No Diet Sisterhood.

Episode 22 is here and your hosts, Glenys and Aaron just need to rant a little bit.  They discuss some current research over "obesity" and cancer and examine flaws with studies like this and how it perpetuates fat-phobia.  Glenys and Aaron also take time to discuss with public weight loss experiences of Gabby Sidibe and Chrissy Metz.  Buckle up, and enjoy the bumpy, wild ride.

Glenys and Aaron are back with Episode 20. They invited Hilary Kinavey from Be Nourished to come on the podcast to help answer two questions from our listeners. Both questions deal with how can the people closest to us support our Intuitive Eating and HAES® journey.  One listener asks for tips in explaining Intuitive Eating and HAES® to her partner and the second question deals with working with a spouse or partner who is still steeped in diet culture and might not support our exploration of HAES®.

They also recommend reading the book Body Respect which you can find here: https://www.amazon.com/Body-Respect-Conventional-Health-Understand/dp/1940363195

Glenys and Aaron are back (better than ever) after a month and a half hiatus.  In Episode 19, they interview certified health & wellness coach, Melissa Toler about her work in helping women heal their relationship with their bodies and discover food freedom.  The discussion covers Melissa's story of how she arrived at this work, her progression from weight loss coaching to a weight-neutral approach and the intersection of fat phobia, race and social justice.  It is a wide-ranging, thoughtful discussion that you will get you to see body positivity from a new perspective.
